Climate Cabinet Education has successfully completed a phase one trial for Project HAYSTACK (Highlighting Action in Your State Through AI-Curated Knowledge), which analyzed the ability of AI to identify, track, and target the highest-impact state legislation on climate. 

With hundreds of thousands of bills, determining how to identify what legislation is most important to their areas of interest is a key obstacle for voters, advocates and even elected officials. Our trial indicated that an open-sourced large language model (LLM) could effectively and accurately automate and scale the tracking of state legislation, when guided by specific prompts and knowledge from policy experts.
